So it’s the end of Harry Potter!
The end of an era for these fantastic series of books and films came to an emotional close last night at the 'Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows part 2' premier. Despite a miserable wet day for the majority of Thursday, the sunshine shone down on the Potter cast for their final walk up the red carpet honoring the final installment!
Radcliffe, Grint and Watson who play the three main young wizards started off at the tender age of just 11 have grown up acting in these films and I am sure they are as big a part of their lives as they are of the massive fan base all over the globe!
The premier itself took over the entire Trafalgar Square and stretched to Leicester Square with the longest red carpet of all time (1.2km!!). Watson (Hermione Granger) in particular, cat walked herself up and down the carpet showing off to her fans that she had most definitely grown up from the little girl she was at the beginning of Potter by wearing a stunning Oscar De La Renta floor length gown! That beautiful dress teamed with her ultra trendy pixie crop displayed her for the fashion icon she is so rapidly becoming!!
I don't know about you! But I am going to miss these films like crazy! the stories, the excitement, THE MAGIC!! It’s what we've all grown to love over the past 10 years and it’s not something I'm eager to forget! But now, at the age of 21 Radcliffe, Watson and Grint need to find their next step in the world acting, showbiz and fashion (Watson).
